To succeed in this role as a Tandem Developer, you should bring strong hands-on experience with HP NonStop server technologies and a solid background in enterprise COBOL development. You will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing applications running on the HP NonStop platform and working with key utilities, scripting tools, and database technologies to support high-performance transactional systems.

Required Experience & Expertise

• HP NonStop Server Technology: Proven working experience with HP NonStop (Tandem) systems.
• IBM Enterprise COBOL: Strong development experience using COBOL on HPNS environments.
• HP NonStop Utilities: Hands-on experience with essential utilities such as FUP, Inspect, Pathway, and related tools.
• Enscribe Database & OLTP: Sound understanding of Enscribe database and online transaction processing environments including Pathway and TACL scripting.
