Position Details
Position Status: Regular Full Time Location: Sarcee, Complex Continuing Care (Unit 3) BW Hours: 77.50FTE: 1.00 Shift: Days Shift Times: 0800-1615 Union: UNA Rate of Pay: $40.52 - $53.91 plus applicable Educational Allowance PCN: SarLTCTL07

The Opportunity
Position Summary:
Responsible for providing professional nursing expertise to improve and/or maintain health status, through ongoing assessment, treatment and evaluation of sub acute clients. Responsible for providing leadership and guidance to the Care Team.
Program Summary:
Complex Care – for frail seniors who require the care of an interdisciplinary team to maintain and improve quality of life in safe, comfortable and supportive environments. Carewest offers a mix of secured and unsecured units. .
Qualifications & Experience:
- Graduation from a recognized nursing program;
- Nursing degree is preferred Registration with the CARNA; CPR;
- Certification in geriatrics an asset
- Minimum of 5 years experience in rehabilitation or geriatric nursing is preferred;
- Demonstrated leadership qualities.
