This role is central to bridging business needs with technical solutions, supporting software initiatives that drive strategic objectives. The Technical Business Analyst will collaborate closely with product owners, UI/UX designers, and development teams to define requirements, document processes, and ensure successful implementation of software projects. Working in an Agile environment, the role requires translating complex business needs into actionable user stories, use cases, and functional specifications. The position offers exposure to multiple phases of the software development lifecycle, including testing, user acceptance, and training delivery. Accountabilities:

  • Work within a Scrum/Agile team to develop user stories, use cases, flow charts, and other artifacts that define project scope
  • Collaborate with product owners to create and maintain product backlog items and enhancement documentation
  • Coordinate multiple phases of the software development lifecycle, from planning to implementation
  • Support testing initiatives, including Sprint testing and user acceptance testing
  • Assist in developing training materials and "train the trainer" programs for system implementations
  • Partner with UI/UX designers to ensure solutions meet business requirements
  • Identify and analyze preliminary business needs, define project scope, establish milestones, and track timelines
  • Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a business analysis or technical analysis role
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills
  • Proficiency in documenting and analyzing complex business processes
  • Experience in Agile/Scrum environments and writing user stories and acceptance criteria
  • Knowledge of software development lifecycle best practices
  • Experience with MS Office products; familiarity with SQL, HTML, XML, and APIs preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact with executives, managers, and subject matter experts
