Optimum is delivering the world's first Decentralized Web3 Internet Protocol for any blockchain. Powered by Random Linear Network Coding (RLNC), Optimum scales network speed, robustness and throughput by orders of magnitude.
Co-founded by Muriel Médard, co-inventor of RLNC, and a team of industry experts, Optimum introduces a breakthrough in Web3 infrastructure. Blockchains—often called world computers—lack a critical component for infinite scalability: a real-time virtual memory.
Our memory infrastructure enables high-speed data propagation, fast access, and secure updates, scaling the world computer. Backers include 1kx, Spartan, Robot Ventures, Finality Capital, Triton Capital (fka Kraken Ventures), CMT Digital, SNZ and others.

We're seeking a Technical Ecosystem Lead to own and operationalize our Flexnodes operator education and onboarding initiatives, starting with the launch of Hacknets, our hands-on node operator onboarding program. This role sits at the intersection of Infrastructure, Engineering, and Marketing: your goal is to make it possible to onboard thousands of node operators and run external activations without impacting core engineering work.
This is a hybrid Solutions Architect and Developer Relations role. You'll need deep enough infrastructure understanding to be autonomous when onboarding operators and resolving technical friction as well as the community and ecosystem instinct to design programs that drive participation. You'll partner closely with the Flexnodes Infrastructure team, Engineering, and Marketing to educate and onboard node operators.
This is a high-ownership role with the opportunity to make a real mark on how the Flexnode ecosystem is built and grows. You'll identify gaps, push for improvements, work directly with engineers to get things prioritized, and ensure execution aligns with broader product and protocol goals.
Own the Hacknets program and community events end-to-end from initial design through launch, operations, measurement, and iteration.
Lead the relaunch of Hacknets: structured, scalable events that train node operators to run a Flexnode, building on past ad-hoc activations with clear goals, timelines, and operational playbooks.
Design and launch a Flexnode certification program for node operators that combines skill development with a meaningful reward system.
Define and track program KPIs.
Coordinate testnet / infra setup for events and ongoing use for programs.
Resolve infrastructure friction autonomously such as debugging access issues, connectivity problems, and node configuration without defaulting to engineering escalation.
Own user-facing documentation for Flexnodes including quickstart guides.
Protect engineering focus by frontlining questions, triaging issues, and only escalating what truly needs engineering and infrastructure time.
Partner with Marketing to design and execute campaigns around Hacknets, hackathons, workshops, and digital activations focused on onboarding node operators.
Translate operator and ecosystem feedback into clear requirements for the eng/infra team; drive prioritization in product planning and ensure changes align with broader protocol goals.
6+ years of technical program or product management experience in infrastructure-heavy environments (dev tools, infrastructure, SaaS, or similar)
Proven track record of transforming ad-hoc, manual processes into structured, repeatable programs.
Experience collaborating directly with infrastructure and protocol engineers on complex technical initiatives.
Strong execution skills: you create timelines, checklists, and playbooks that keep teams aligned without unnecessary overhead
Ability to coordinate multiple parallel, complex workstreams and maintain alignment across teams.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with experience creating documentation for large technical audiences.
Web3 / crypto familiarity (validators, node operators, staking, incentives) or ability to learn complex technical domains quickly.
Understand concepts like nodes, testnets, uptime, debugging access issues.
Competitive compensation package, including token incentives.
Remote-first environment with flexible hours.
High ownership role with real influence on protocol success.
Close collaboration with world-class researchers and protocol engineers
We still encourage you to apply. If you’ve developed and led technical education programs in infrastructure-heavy environments, we’d love to hear from you.
