OBJECTIVE
As a TechOps Engineer (Fresher) at Amanotes, you will join the core team that keeps our internal platforms, cloud infrastructure, and engineering workflows running smoothly. You will work at the intersection of AI automation, business analysis, and development engineering — helping to build tools, scripts, and workflows that make our product and business teams more productive.You will collaborate closely with Product Owners, Scrum teams, and cross-functional departments (Engineering, Data, HR, Finance, Creative, LiveOps, etc.), following Agile/Scrum and ITIL-aligned practices to deliver reliable services and great internal customer experience.This is a hands-on technical role for someone who loves coding, cloud, automation, and problem solving, and wants to grow into DevOps / SRE / Cloud / AI engineering paths.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
TechOps & Service Operations+ Support day-to-day TechOps activities: handle incidents, service requests, and changes following ITIL best practices (ticket triage, prioritization, escalation, and communication).+ Work with Product Owners (POs) and Scrum teams to clarify requirements, refine user stories, and break down work into actionable technical tasks.+ Collaborate with cross-team stakeholders (Engineering, Data, Business, HR, Finance, MKT) to understand their needs and translate them into technical solutions and automations.AI & Automation, Dev Engineering+ Contribute to building AI-powered tools and automations (e.g., chatbots, internal assistants, workflow automation, summarization, code review helpers) using modern AI platforms and APIs.+ Support business analysis (BA) activities: gather requirements, map processes, identify pain points and opportunities for automation or tooling.+ Develop and maintain internal tools, scripts and microservices to improve productivity (e.g., integration between Jira, Slack, Google Workspace, Git, billing systems, HRIS, etc.).+ Write clean, maintainable code and automation scripts (e.g., using Bash and at least one general-purpose language such as Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Go, or similar).Cloud, DevOps & Tooling+ Assist in operating and improving our cloud environments on AWS and GCP (provisioning resources, basic troubleshooting, tagging and housekeeping).+ Support CI/CD and DevOps workflows: Git branching, pipelines, build/deploy scripts, basic monitoring and alerting.+ Work with Databases (SQL & NoSQL) for internal tools and automations: querying, simple schema design, basic performance considerations.+ Use Git as the source of truth for configuration, scripts, and documentation.Collaboration, Documentation & Continuous Improvement+ Produce and maintain clear documentation, runbooks, and knowledge base articles for TechOps processes, tools, and services.+ Communicate proactively with stakeholders on task status, risks, and incident updates, ensuring transparency and good expectations management.+ Continuously look for ways to simplify, standardize, and automate operational processes to improve reliability, speed, and cost-efficiency.
QUALIFICATIONS
Final-year student or recent graduate in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering or related fields (or equivalent practical experience).Solid understanding of computer science fundamentals and problem-solving skills.Coding skills in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, Go, C#, etc.) and familiarity with Git (clone, branch, commit, merge, pull request).Basic knowledge of cloud platforms, preferably AWS or GCP: + Core services (compute, storage, networking basics).+ Understanding of regions/zones, IAM basics, and resource organization.Fundamental understanding of Databases: + SQL databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server) – ability to write simple queries (SELECT, JOIN, WHERE, GROUP BY).+ NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, DynamoDB, Firestore) – basic concepts (collections, documents, key-value).Comfortable with Linux basics and Bash scripting (file operations, processes, simple automation scripts).Basic understanding of: Software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile/Scrum.What DevOps is trying to achieve (automation, CI/CD, observability, reliability).Good teamwork and communication skills:Able to explain technical issues in simple language to non-technical stakeholders.Open to feedback, collaborative, and willing to help others.Proactive, willing to learn, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, product-driven environment.
NICE TO HAVE
Academic projects or personal experience with AI/ML, LLMs, or data engineering (e.g., building a chatbot, recommendation script, data pipeline, or automation using AI APIs).Familiarity with DevOps tooling:+ Containers (Docker), basic Kubernetes concepts.+ CI/CD systems (GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or similar).+ Logging/monitoring tools (e.g., Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, or similar).Experience with Bash plus another scripting language (e.g., Python) to automate repetitive tasks.Exposure to ITIL concepts (incident, problem, change, request management) or IT service desk tools.Hands-on experience with some of our ecosystem tools: Google Workspace, Slack, Jira / Confluence, GitLab, Snipe-IT, or similar.Passion for games, music, and mobile apps is a strong plus.
