Test Engineer - Tieto Banktech (m/f/d)

Your Role

As a Test Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software solutions. You will work closely with developers and QA colleagues in Agile teams, contributing to both manual and automated testing across different system components.

• Collaborate with Developers and QA team members to ensure iteration and quality goals are met.
• Design, prepare, and execute manual and automated tests for functional and regression coverage.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts within existing frameworks.
• Work with the development team to set up, use, and maintain complex test environments.
• Contribute to improving test processes, automation coverage, and overall product quality.

We Are Looking For

• 2+ years of hands-on experience in software testing within an Agile environment.
• Good understanding of testing types, levels, and quality assurance practices.
• Experience working with databases and Linux environments.
• Basic programming skills in at least one common language (e.g. Python, Java, JavaScript).
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and collaborative ways of working.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Fluent English with clear written and verbal communication skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience with test automation using existing tools and frameworks.
• Exposure to CI tools and pipelines.
• Knowledge of API and/or performance testing.
