TN6 - Sr. UI/UX Designer

In a nutshell, you are a seasoned designer who feels equally confident during both the planning stages of UX/UI design, as well as the definition and maintenance of beautiful and unique design systems.
You understand the functional side of projects and talk “developer language.” You have the robust skill set and experience to confidently see a project through, from the product's initial design to dev hand-off. You see feedback and opposing opinions as an opportunity to improve your work. You are a
team player and know when to listen, share your perspective, and when to roll up your sleeves and get things done. Oh, and you are a Figma fanatic!
Ultimately, you will create functional and appealing features that address our client’s needs and business goals.

/ Responsibilities
● Lead client conversations (primarily US based) to effectively present and justify design decisions, align on timelines and manage expectations.
● Balance client priorities, user needs, and business goals, and bring those insights into the design process
● Zoom in and out! See the big picture while tracking every detail.
● Thrive in an agile environment where many technical features are being designed simultaneously, and priorities are shifting.
● Take ownership of full product design, including writing use cases, diagramming, creating robust wireframes and high-fidelity UIs to communicate your ideas.
● Work at all levels of UX, translating feature docs into wireframes, use case flows, interactive prototypes, and mockups.
● Create visually compelling, usable, and scalable interfaces.
● Maintain and evolve visual design systems that support consistency across products.
● Work hand-in-hand with developers to ensure designs are technically feasible and implemented accurately.
● Stay current on design trends, tools, and best practices.

/ Requirements

Technical Skills
● 7+ years of UX and UI design experience.
● Mastery of Figma for wireframing, prototyping, design systems, and developer handoff.
● Strong portfolio demonstrating product thinking, challenges, impact interaction design, and visual craft.
● End-to-end design experience: copywriting, wireframing, prototyping, UI, visual design and interaction design.
● Expertise in web and mobile design standards.
● Experience working with and building scalable design systems.
● Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Experience exporting dev-ready components or collaborating closely in handoff to React teams is a strong plus.
● Experience in the banking/fintech industry is a strong plus.
