Trainee Assistant Cook

We are looking for a Trainee Assistant Cook for a one-year period. The Assistant Cook will assist the Head Cook in meal preparation and the daily operations of the kitchen, including cleaning equipment, checking supplies, and rotating food stock.

Qualifications

• Secondary schooling or equivalent qualifications.                                                          
• National Certificate level 3 in food production or equivalent qualifications.                        
• Recognised apprenticeship will be a definite advantage. 
• High level of Integrity.
• Passionate about service.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Valid Food Handlers’ Certificate.
• A clean certificate of character is a must.
