Transport Consultant
PLANET S.A. is looking for an enthusiastic, highly skilled professional to join its Infrastructure Development, and Investment Advisory Services (IDIS) Team in Athens.
As consultant of the IDIS Group you will participate in the implementation of challenging projects in Greece and abroad, providing consulting and project management services in various areas, focusing on transport sector (as well as civil infrastructure, energy, environment, etc.)
Responsibilities
- Provision of technical advisory services (as part of projects' teamwork) in various stages of transport related projects
- Participate in project management processes and prepare project progress reports
- Research, identify and specify solutions to problems related to infrastructure as well as institutional aspects
- Collaborate with PLANET experts, as well as professionals from other firms, to achieve engagement objectives
- Contribute to the business acquisition process of the Company
- Organize and participate in project workshops/ meetings
- Undertake the preparation of presentations on various aspects
- Demonstrate the highest degree of professionalism, ethics, quality, and integrity
Requirements
- University degree in Transport Engineering
- Master’s degree in Transport Engineering / Planning / Economics or MBA will be positively assessed
- Three (3) years of work experience in the delivery of technical advisory services or in design elaboration, preferably in Transport sector
- Experience / familiarity with public procurement, as well as with modern mobility trends (micromobility, e-mobility etc.), will be positively assessed
- Ability to work on own initiative and interact as part of a highly motivated team
- Multi-tasking personality and willingness to deal with multifaceted assignments
- Ability to prioritize and plan, to effectively achieve goals and be dependable in consistently delivering reliable results within deadlines
- Excellent communication skills (written and spoken) in Greek and English
