Entrata is looking for a Utility Billing Specialist to join our ResidentUtility team. This position will provide utility billing services to a portfolio of multifamily housing clients. Clients choose Entrata to manage their community utility bills and generate individual resident invoices in a timely and accurate manner. A successful Utility Billing Specialist will maintain our high standards for timeliness and accuracy while calculating and creating utility bills for a large number of apartment communities. We’re looking for people who are detail-oriented, extremely organized, take responsibility for their work, and are always striving for continuous improvement.
Responsibilities:
Oversee a portfolio of clients, managing timeliness and accuracy of utility bill receipt, processing, and distribution
Accountable for accurate and timely monthly resident billing
Ensure proper procedures and follow-ups are executed, according to SOP’s
Coordinate with UEM team members to ensure timely receipt of monthly utility bills
Coordinate with Utility Service Managers to ensure billing is completed in accordance with the needs of the client
Provide customer support for residents with questions about utility charges
Partner with other team members on projects and audits related to the success of the ResidentUtility service
Assist team members, as needed, to fulfill their job duties
Meet department metrics and KPI’s
Minimum Qualifications:
Excellent communication skills – both verbal and written
Quick learner with the ability to adapt to a dynamic environment
Basic computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office products, specifically Microsoft Excel
Ability to deliver quality results with strict deadlines
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Self-motivated with or without supervision; a healthy desire to constantly succeed
Organizational skills needed to balance workload to achieve optimal results
Ability to work well with others in a team setting
