Responsibilities:
Lead physical integration of components into the vehicleThe scope of the role will include projects at any stage of a program lifecycle (series production, prototype, etc.) as well as non-program specific developmentGenerate concerns in issue management software (JIRA) and track them through to completionConduct preventive maintenance, calibrations, and on-going system troubleshooting; this is a "hands-on" jobDocument all vehicle tasks and issuesWork with Mechanical, Mechatronics and Software Engineers to help bring up new platformsCreate install instructions for new buildsEffectively communicate and collaborate with the engineers, technicians, product teams, and operators to ensure that vehicles are well maintained.
Required Skills:
BA/BS degree in Mechanical Engineering, or related field 5+ years practical experience in automotive fieldDiagnostic troubleshooting/experience with vehicle or robotics systems including electrical and mechanical sensors, cameras, computers, and other associated equipmentAbility to read and understand mechanical drawings and electrical schematicsDetail oriented, highly organized, with a passion for continuous learningExperience working with EVs and/or autonomous vehicles a plus
