The Job

We are seeking a highly respected Vice President of Growth to lead our Australian growth strategy and drive long-term value across portfolios of residential solar clients.

This is a senior sales and commercial leadership role in the Australian arm of our business, offering genuine executive influence over strategy, partnerships, product alignment, and portfolio based growth. You will be accountable for winning, retaining, and expanding residential client portfolios, supported by selective commercial opportunities. You will lead a small, high performing team across Business Development, Sales, and Marketing, while remaining hands-on in complex deal strategy and execution.

Working closely with Product, Finance, and Operations, you will help shape market leading solutions that deliver sustainable growth and long term customer value. This is an opportunity to shape national growth strategy while remaining close to customers and the market. You will have executive autonomy, strong cross-functional support, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in Australia’s renewable energy transition.

What You'll Do

Sales Leadership

Lead the team to Identify and sign new clients within the Residential & Commercial sector

Coach, develop, and mentor the Sales team, both individually and as a team

Hire and onboard new Sales team members (in collaboration with the People team)

Lead the Sales team to maintain rigor in CRM hygiene and pipeline management

Collaborate with Marketing and Product Marketing to evolve our approach to Commercial segments, and to reshape Omnidian’s value proposition

Engage in rapid cross-team collaboration with Client Success, Product, Operations, and other Senior Leadership to develop expanded scopes that meet market demand

Build industry relationships to create awareness, loyalty and enthusiasm for Omnidian’s comprehensive Performance Assurance solutions in Australia

Provide revenue and growth forecasts, in partnership with Finance

Executive Leadership

Collaborate with the Australian leadership team, sharing insights, engaging in productive debate and discussion, and positively challenging ourselves and each other

Shape the future of the company through strategic quarterly and annual planning, being a conduit of the voice of the customer and the trends in the market to help influence our focus and investments

Be a champion and steward of the Omnidian core values and culture (within and beyond the Sales and GTM teams)

Strategic Alliance Management

Develop relationships with our largest prospects and clients, engaging where appropriate with senior leaders in our partner companies

Contract Management

Collaborate with legal, operations and product teams to negotiate contracts

Who You Are

An experienced leader within the Australian solar and/or storage industry

Senior background in Business Development, Sales or a related discipline

Experience leading Sales and Marketing teams

Proven experience growing and retaining portfolios of clients (B2B)

Strong capability in deal structuring, negotiation, and closing

Solutions based sales mindset with disciplined pipeline management

Experience with equipment manufacturers (i.e. OEMs) is highly regarded
