Vice President, Product Execution & Customer Outcomes

How this role will Serve, Own and Grow at Rev:

Rev is seeking a pragmatic, execution-oriented Vice President of Product to lead our Product organization and partner closely with our CEO/Founder, VP of Engineering, and C-Team to bring Rev’s product vision to life.

Our CEO/Founder provides strong product instincts, clear conviction, and direction on where Rev is headed. The Vice President of Product will work in close partnership with that vision—driving focus, alignment, and disciplined execution across Product and Design, particularly in moments of ambiguity, competing priorities, and rapid change.

This role is centered on ensuring that strategy translates into measurable customer outcomes by creating clarity, sequencing work effectively, and enabling teams to execute with confidence and consistency.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead and scale a growing Product organization (currently 3 Product Managers and a Senior Director of Design with 3 Designers), providing clear structure, thoughtful prioritization, and steady leadership as the team navigates complexity.

  • Enable teams to move quickly and effectively by reducing friction, grounding decisions in customer insights and data, and maintaining strong alignment across Product, Engineering, and Design around shared goals and outcomes.

  • Operate as a hands-on product leader who enjoys working closely with customers, collaborating deeply with cross-functional partners, and helping teams find clarity in dynamic, fast-moving startup environments.

🔍 Responsibilities:

Product Execution & Alignment

  • Own final prioritization, sequencing, and execution decisions for Product and Design, in close partnership with Engineering and company leadership

  • Translate CEO vision, priorities, and high-energy direction into clear roadmaps, milestones, and decisions

  • Drive alignment across Product, Engineering, and Design amid ambiguity and competing inputs

  • Force clarity, consensus, and decision-making when priorities conflict

Leadership & Team Management

  • Lead, coach, and develop Product Managers and Design leadership

  • Bring structure and accountability to teams with strong individual talent

  • Create an environment of trust, focus, and high standards

  • Balance flexibility with conviction—knowing when to adapt and when to hold the line

Customer & Market Engagement

  • Stay close to customers through direct conversations, feedback loops, and post-launch learning

  • Ensure product decisions are grounded in real customer pain—not just internal intuition

  • Partner with GTM and Legal teams to understand evolving customer needs

Operational Rigor

  • Bring discipline to planning, execution, and post-launch learning

  • Use data and analytics to assess what’s working, what isn’t, and why

  • Introduce lightweight program management where helpful to keep initiatives moving

  • Ensure launches are paired with clear success metrics and learning plans

Cross-Functional Partnership

  • Act as the primary point of accountability for product execution across the company

  • Partner closely with the VP of Engineering on delivery, sequencing, and tradeoffs

  • Work with the C-Team to ensure product execution supports company goals

  • Serve as a steady, trusted operator who can move with grace under pressure

Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience in Product Management, including leadership roles

  • Prior hands-on experience as a Product Manager (essential)

  • Proven ability to execute in fast-paced, ambiguous startup environments

  • Strong track record of translating executive vision into shipped product

  • Experience working closely with Engineering and Design teams

  • Customer-facing by nature—comfortable and energized by direct customer conversations

  • Data-informed and detail-oriented, especially in post-launch learning

  • Familiarity with AI-powered products and software-driven workflows

  • Calm, grounded leadership style with strong judgment and integrity

Nice to have

  • Experience in legal tech, AI, or complex B2B SaaS products

  • Exposure to program management or operational product leadership

  • Experience supporting remote or distributed teams

Location Requirement:

  • This is a hybrid role based in Austin, TX, with an expectation of being onsite 2–3 days per week at our office located at: 1717 W 6th St, Suite 310, Austin, TX 78703.
