The Position
Redox is seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to run operations at our Bibra Lake site. Referred to internally as Store Manager, you will be tasked with the safe and effective management of all warehouse and logistical activities for Redox’s Perth Division.
About the Role
- Ensures all who work and enter the warehouse and related grounds adhere to Redox’s policies and procedures.
- Promote a safe working environment through the application of WH&S policies, standards, conditions and processes.
- Manage the day-to-day planning, efficiency and operations of the warehouse through daily toolbox talks and the monitoring of KPI’s such as, DIFOT, picking accuracy, space utilisation and container turnaround times.
- Ensure inventory management best practices are applied encompassing (but not limited to) stock storage, location, segregation, quantities, packaging, and labelling.
- Champion good Housekeeping and Hygiene practices by ensuring that standards including but not limited to GMP and HACCP are adhered to across the warehouse.
- Ability to communicate and work with various stakeholders internally and externally to improve performance and outcomes for the business.
- Effective management, review and improvement of warehouse and related activities through safety inspections, risk assessments, GMP audits, and review of quality problems.
- Ensure ongoing planned maintenance schedule of all warehouse equipment.
- Lead, train, mentor and performance manage a team of 10+ direct reports, including warehouse operatives and logistics personnel in processes, systems, operational tasks and functions.
About you
- A minimum of 5yrs industry experience in a similar role
- Hold a current Australian Forklift Licence (minimum LF class)
- Demonstrated knowledge of State and Federal WHS legislation
- Demonstrated knowledge of Dangerous Goods and Hazardous Substances Regulatory Handling and Storage Legislation
- Knowledge and function of business systems, processes and controls such GMP, HACCP, ISO/Quality, Environmental Management and COR.
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills with the ability to manage and guide staff at all levels in warehouse operations and related activities.
- Well-developed time management, reporting and organisational skills along with Performance Management & target setting knowledge.
- Experienced in the Microsoft Office Suite with exposure to ERP and WMS tools including but not limited to pool pallet and IBC management tools.
