The Role:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Warehouse Operations Team Leader to join our Distribution Centre in Dublin, to help deliver exceptional standards across our inbound and outbound operations.
Reporting to the Distribution Manager, you will allocate tasks, motivate your team, maintain high standards of cGMP/cGDP compliance, and ensure all daily KPIs and operational processes are completed accurately and on time.
This role is central to maintaining Clinigen’s commitment to safety, quality, and operational excellence.
Inbound Operations
- Ensure all deliveries are received, checked, and processed within agreed turnaround times.
- Allocate tasks effectively to optimise workflow.
- Complete and communicate daily End of Day reports.
- Maintain cGMP and cGDP standards across inbound operations.
- Liaise with Quality teams to support timely product release and put-away.
- Support internal audits, client audits, and HPRA inspections.
- Follow and enforce all SOPs, Job Aids, and Quality procedures.
Outbound Operations
- Oversee daily pick, pack, and dispatch activities, ensuring turnaround times and accuracy targets are met.
- Allocate workload and monitor progress to maintain operational efficiency.
- Maintain packaging consumable stock levels.
- Ensure compliance with cGMP/cGDP and SOP standards.
- Support audit preparation and continuous improvement activities.
Quality & Compliance
- Support the investigation and documentation of Deviations, Non-Conformances, and CAPAs.
- Promote a strong quality culture and “right first time” approach.
- Ensure all warehouse activities follow relevant SOPs and regulatory standards.
People Management & Leadership
- Provide daily leadership, motivation, and direction to the warehouse team.
- Conduct regular 1:1s, coaching discussions, and performance reviews.
- Support attendance, disciplinary, and performance processes in line with HR policy.
- Promote a culture of fairness, accountability, and open communication.
Requirements
We are looking for someone who brings experience, confidence, and a proactive approach. You will need:
- Previous experience in a similar warehouse team leader role.
- Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise effectively.
- Experience making autonomous decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of warehouse processes and managing diverse teams.
- Experience in regulated environments (pharma/healthcare/life sciences) is desirable.
- Experience with Deviations, CAPAs, or audits is advantageous.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and customer focus.
- Strong attention to detail and high computer literacy (Microsoft Office).
- Leaving Cert or equivalent; supervisory training is beneficial.
