Job Summary:
An MCRP Wellness Monitor is responsible for enforcing policies and procedures consistent with the Department Operation Manual (DOM) and California Code of Regulations, Title 15 (CCR), including documentation if necessary. A Monitor safely directs and supervises students (participants) 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, including holidays, constantly remaining awake and alert, maintaining no less than a 50:1 ratio.
Wellness monitors are responsible for our medication room, logging in medication, observing students self-administer medication.
Essential Duties:
Primarily assigned to the medication room, ensuring over the counter medication and first aid is stocked.Logging in medication to our medication logbooksSending various reports to CDCRReport and respond to the signs of substance abuseMonitor the MCRP and ensure MCRP participant behavior is appropriateReport any suspicious behavior to the Program Director and CDCR staffMonitor the camera control centerPerforms other related duties as assigned.Completes other related duties as assigned.
