Responsible for the full aspects of finance spectrum for Korea office
Perform payment and collection duties on AP and AR for Korea office
Involved in operational support to Trading floor in trade executions
Prepare financial reporting package in accordance with local GAAP and US GAAP to the management team based in Asia and USA.
Review of balance sheet reconciliations and ensuring adequate follow ups of outstanding items
Handling of external audits for Korea company
Responsible for taxation that includes coordinating with our external tax consultants to ensure accuracy of various tax reports such as VAT, corporate tax and being compliant with tax regulation
Assist in validating Korea employee claims submission
Develop and document business workflow processes to maintain and strengthen internal controls
Streamlining workflow processes to enhance better productivity.
Analyse operational costs to maximise cost efficiency
Being a coordinator between local service providers / regulators / financial institutions and company employees for various finance related tasks
Any other ad-hoc tasks assigned
[Job Requirements]
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance strongly preferred.
Minimum 5 years of full set accounting experience
Experience in working for an international company and multicultural environment
Sound knowledge of the statutory and tax requirements
Proficient in English & Korean (Written/Spoken)
Proficient in MS Office (Excel)
