Accountant - SWOT Hospitality

SWOT Hospitality is seeking for an

Accountant (based in Athens).

An exciting role has arisen for an experienced Accountant to join SWOT Hospitality. The role will be responsible for maintaining accurate accounting records, supporting operations and assist with budgeting and forecasting. The ideal candidate should have at least three years of experience in book keeping and accounting in Hospitality sector.

Main Duties

• Records and files operating expenses documents / cash inflows and outflows / fixed assets
• Prepares payments by verifying documentation and requesting disbursements.
• Reconciles financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.
• Reconciles balancies with suppliers
• Maintains accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures.
• Ensures legislation is followed regarding all Hotel related legal issues

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, or finance is highly desirable
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in Hospitality
• Ideally work exprerience in luxury hotels / international hospitality groups
• Solid knowledge of financial and accounting procedures and strong analytical and numerical skills
• Advanced MS Excel skills
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Very good command of the English language
