ABOUT THE ROLE
The Accounting Manager will lead the accounting function for our operations in Mexico. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with Mexican statutory and tax requirements, and effective accounting processes that support advanced manufacturing and rapid business growth. The Accounting Manager will work closely with operations, engineering, and global finance teams to support scalable and compliant financial operations.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
Oversee end-to-end accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, inventory, and payroll accountingEnsure compliance with Mexican accounting standards (NIF) and local tax regulations (SAT), including ISR, IVA, and CFDI requirementsLead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, ensuring timely and accurate reportingPrepare and review statutory financial statements, management reports and flux and variance analysis Manage and prepare tax filings and support audits and reviews with external auditors, tax advisors, and authoritiesEstablish, document and maintain internal controls and accounting policies suitable for a high-tech manufacturing environmentPartner with operations and supply chain teams on inventory controls, BOM accuracy, production costing, and margin analysisManage intercompany transactions, transfer pricing support, and reporting for global operationsLead, mentor and develop the local accounting teamSupport ERP implementations, system upgrades, and process automation initiativesContribute to budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis in collaboration with FP&A and global finance teams
WHAT YOU WILL BRING
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related fieldCPA (Certified public accountant) or equivalent professional certification preferred5–8 years of progressive accounting experience, including manufacturing accountingStrong knowledge of Mexican accounting standards (NIF) and tax complianceHands-on experience with cost accounting, inventory management, and manufacturing close processesExperience with SAT compliance, CFDI, and statutory reportingProficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and advanced Excel skillsStrong leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skillsStrong attention to detail and analytical mindsetAbility to operate in a fast-paced, innovation-driven environmentProcess improvement and automation orientationStrong ethical standards and compliance focusAbility to translate complex accounting topics for non-finance stakeholders
