About the job
To strengthen our finance team based in Louvain-la-Neuve, we are currently seeking an experienced Accounting Manager. In this role, the Accounting Manager will play a vital role in ensuring the financial stability and success of our organization. Reporting directly to the CFO, the Accounting Manager will be responsible for overseeing a team of 3 accountants/assistants.
The primary responsibilities of the Accounting Manager include:
General accounting (statutory & management) for several entities (FR/UK/NL/CA)
Supplier Management: ensuring timely and accurate payments.
Responsible for the monthly closing process, ensuring that all financial records are accurately updated and reconciled.
Annual Audits: Working closely with external auditors, you will assist in the preparation and coordination of annual audits to ensure compliance and accuracy.
Preparing and processing payments in a timely manner, ensuring that all financial obligations are met.
Preparation and filing of VAT returns, ensuring compliance with relevant tax regulations.
Coordinate with local accounting and payroll agencies to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
Are you our future colleague?
At least 5 to 10 years' experience in accounting and finance
Fluency in written and spoken French and English
Excellent knowledge of French accounting standards and administrative tasks
Good knowledge of consolidation
Strong Excel skills
Knowledge of Netsuite is an asset
Highly motivated, with the ability to manage a variety of projects in a fast-paced environment
Dynamic and possessing excellent communication skills, allowing for effective collaboration and relationship-building with team members and stakeholders.
