The Role:
We're looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to take ownership of an individual and small business portfolio. This isn't a cog-in-the-machine role, you'll have real autonomy to work independently, build smarter AI-driven workflows and deliver a high standard of service to a loyal client base.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Managing and growing a portfolio of individual and small business clients
- Building and implementing AI-driven workflow improvements
- Preparing and reviewing individual tax returns, compliance and advisory work
- Acting as a trusted point of contact for clients
Requirements
About You:
- 5+ years' experience in public practice accounting
- Strong individual tax and compliance knowledge
- Comfortable getting into the technical detail when needed
- Interested in process improvement and emerging accounting technology
- A self-starter who thrives working autonomously in a dynamic, high-performing team
- CA/CPA qualified
