Tetra Maritime is looking for 2 Accounts Assistants to support our Accounting Function.
This role will be based in our Lagos office, 5 days per week.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain cash & bank book, bank reconciliations
- Preparing schedules for tax returns – VAT, Withholding taxes, audit schedules
- Preparation of sales invoices, credit notes, sales summary analysis
- updating vendor & customer accounts and reconciliations
- Sales, purchase transactions entries in the accounting system
- Bank Payments vouchers preparation
- Inter-company reconciliations
- Documents upkeeping for audits
- Aid during audits – documents readiness, schedules preparation, filing and document ownership
- Visits to bank and tax offices for compliances
- Any other jobs may get assigned as and when need arises
Requirements
BSc / MSc in accounting, Computer knowledge – MS office, accounting software – Tally/Sage/SAP is must
Work experience in any manufacturing unit / shipping agency
