Role Definition: Senior Legal Officer
We are seeking a high-class Legal Counsel to join our global team, with experience in some or all of the following:
• ship sale and purchase;
• asset finance;
• corporate finance;
• JVs and other corporate transactions;
• regulatory work and government/agency engagement.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have 5+ years’ PQE at a leading corporate and/or law firm, in Nigeria (i.e. top tier national or multinational) or internationally (but now resident in Lagos), with either shipping expertise, or highclass experience from commodities, oil and gas, finance, aviation, or similar. The candidate should have a focus on non-contentious work including some or all the following:
• Asset sale and purchase;
• Bank facilities;
• Share issue, sale and purchase;
• Joint ventures.
