Ivy is building the world’s first programmable bank. We know the bank of the future is going to be fully regulated and stablecoin-native. We believe that the crypto folks are too afraid of full bank charters, while the bank folks know too little about crypto to pull it off. We believe there’s a trillion-dollar opportunity to launch regulated banks built on the blockchain.
Today, we bank the world’s leading crypto platforms (Kraken). Tomorrow, our platform will power global correspondent banking. And who's going to bank all these AI agents? We are certain that if we get this right, Ivy is going to be Europe’s first $1T company.
We are a team of ex-founders, early employees at unicorns, and top-tier talent from fintech and banking, and we are backed by the world’s best fintech investors:
Valar - Peter Thiel and the Valar team have been thinking about global money since PayPal times.
Creandum - Previously invested in fintechs like Klarna, Trade Republic, Pleo, and iZettle

As an AML, Fraud & Crypto Investigator, you will execute Ivy’s daily AML/fraud monitoring operation. You will independently review and resolve alerts, investigate suspicious activity across fiat payment flows and crypto-related activity, raise and manage RFIs, and escalate cases for SAR/STR filing consideration.
This is a hands-on role: you will be expected to improve detection quality, reduce false positives, and continuously strengthen Ivy’s financial crime controls through rule tuning, feedback loops, and automation opportunities to drive efficiency while ensuring investigations are thorough, timely, and well-documented.
Proactively review and investigate daily alerts tied to AML, fraud, and sanctions across both fiat and crypto payment flows.
Dive deep into suspicious activities, write clear recommendations for closure or escalation, and assist with filing Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs).
Leverage top-tier analytics tools (like Chainalysis, TRM, Elliptic, or similar) to trace on-chain flows, resolve KYT alerts, and identify complex crypto typologies such as mixers, scams, and darknet activity.
Conduct thorough open-source intelligence (OSINT) research to build a complete picture of customers, counterparties, and potential red flags.
Go beyond just clearing alerts by identifying emerging patterns, suggesting rule tweaks to reduce false positives, and actively improving our detection models.
5+ years of hands-on experience in transaction monitoring, AML investigations, or fraud detection.
Solid, working understanding of EU AML regulatory frameworks (e.g., 5AMLD, MiCA, and EBA guidelines).
Proficiency with standard transaction monitoring systems (e.g., SEON, ComplyAdvantage, Actimize) and crypto-specific investigation tools (e.g., Crystal or SumSub Travel Rule).
A strong "builder" mindset with a proactive drive to automate repetitive tasks, improve existing processes, and boost team efficiency.
Ability to run investigations independently from start to finish while handling highly sensitive financial data with absolute discretion.
ACAMS, ICA, or ACFCS certification.
