Base Salary: $95,000 – $105,000 (CAD)

Teragonia’s Value Creation & Analytics (VC&A) division bridges finance, consulting, and technology to support portfolio companies. We combine consulting rigor and AI to address complex challenges and enhance enterprise value through platform solutions and advisory. The Astradis platform provides real-time intelligence through a function-specific command center, combining structured and unstructured data via our Fibron AI layer. Our platform powers diagnostic dashboards, forecasting models, pricing tools, and operations modules, enabling clients to transition from reactive reporting to predictive strategy.
Requirements
We are looking for a talented Analytics Engineer to join our team as an Analyst. As an Analyst, you will work closely with our team of analytics engineers to design and develop advanced analytics solutions for our private equity-backed company clients. You will assist in understanding their business needs and developing tailored analytics solutions.
As an Analyst, you will be a key contributor to our service delivery, innovation, and practice development. You will have the opportunity, and the management support, to develop specialized knowledge of data analytics, data science, and AI applications in a chosen industry or domain. You will possess excellent communication and presentation skills and be eager to develop as a key contributor in the Value Creation and Analytics (VC&A) Consulting division and develop executive presence as your career with us progresses to Associate, Manager, Principal, Director, and Managing Director levels. We will provide appropriate mentorship and company selected resources for your leadership skill development.
As an Analyst, you will be quick to understand the client’s business needs and execute on delivering data-driven solutions. You will play a direct role in driving engagement workflows, deliverables, and timelines, ensuring the quality of enterprise-grade data pipelines and business intelligence applications. These efforts aim to enhance pricing, customer segmentation, sales effectiveness, customer lifetime value, attrition management, workforce scheduling, and cost optimization. You will be actively contributing to and delivering the team’s insights around the ideation, design and development of various analytics, data science and generative AI products, working hand-in-hand with our software engineers, data scientists, and AI engineers.
The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver who takes full ownership of delivering high-quality client work. This individual thrives on delving into technical details to ensure the engagement team successfully meets deliverables by employing analytical techniques to develop crucial business insights for our clients. You will have excellent attention to detail and project management skills, essential for working effectively within our diverse, multidisciplinary team. As part of a collaborative group that includes business analysts, software engineers, data engineers, analytics engineers, data scientists, and AI engineers, you must demonstrate strong teamwork abilities. Your role will require not only individual excellence but also seamless integration and cooperation with team members to achieve shared goals and deliver impactful results.
Transforming low-hygiene data sets to develop organized databases with high fidelity is a necessary part of the job. The ideal candidate is an expert in data wrangling skills and possesses excellent knowledge of the software tools used for service delivery, including data manipulation and data visualization software. You will develop deep expertise in the Teragonia technology stack, for which we will provide appropriate training resources to the extent such tools are new to you.
You could be delivering multiple client engagements simultaneously, or a large and complex engagement, and the scope of the engagement could evolve based on changing client needs. The financial sponsor universe demands actionable insights in a relatively short timeframe. The ideal candidate will be excited about driving critical client deliverables and solving a variety of business problems in parallel, in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
The engagement planning and management are critical to maintaining high quality delivery and efficiency. You will actively support the Engagement Manager and Associate by delivering on the engagement plan and strategy and contribute your own ideas, asking questions, challenging the ideas and timelines presented to ensure that high quality client deliverables can be delivered in the timeframe our clients request them. You will also support the Engagement Manager and Associate with assessing the project management plan including resource allocation, tasks assignment, priorities, timelines, budget vs actual, fee updates, and more.
You will have strong communication and presentation skills and be able to clearly articulate to the team, engagement leader(s) and the client, the business applications and impact of the data analytics assets delivered.

Flexible Work Policy
We promote flexible work to support wellbeing and performance. Remote work is available though in-person collaboration is encouraged for planning and team connection. Toronto based employees have no mandated office days but are expected in person for key meetings. Employees outside Toronto may work remotely with occasional travel for events. Early career professionals with less than three years of experience should live within commuting distance to receive in person mentorship. Relocation support is available on a case-by-case basis.
Working Hours and ESA Exemption
This position is classified as a specialized professional role under O. Reg. 285/01, s. 2 of Ontario's Employment Standards Act, 2000 (ESA) and is therefore exempt from overtime pay requirements. While standard hours of work are expected to be approximately 40 hours per week, additional hours may be required to meet client deliverable sand business needs. Such expectations are reflected in the annual salary.
