Key Job Purpose
To carry out sampling, sample preparation and analysis of raw materials (Rigid and Bottling), in-process samples of Water, Juice and Soft drink products from Syrup room, CO2, WTP, Rigid Products (Preform and Caps) Utilities (Boiler) and Production Line (L1&2) and Warehouse &trade samples.
Key Responsibilities
• Ensure QA/QC standards are in place, understood, and followed.
• Train technicians and operators on established quality procedures.
• Calibrate and maintain equipment as per original standards.
• Inspect raw materials (PET, HDPE, sugar, etc.) before production.
• Highlight and escalate quality deviations for immediate action
• Conduct specialised analyses not covered by shift teams
• Support training and development for production teams.
• Enforce safety regulations, PPE use, and housekeeping standards.
• Identify and act on unsafe practices and conditions.
• Drive quality improvement through analysis, KPI tracking, and cost-saving in lab usage.

Qualifications and Experience
• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Food Science, Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related field.
• 2–3 years’ experience in the beverage industry is an added advantage.
• Familiar with ISO Standards: ISO 9001, ISO 22000, ISO 14001, ISO 45001.
• Knowledge and use of SAP ERP system is beneficial.
• Experience with quality and safety management systems is essential.
