Our partner is a Hungarian-owned neobank established with the goal of making entrepreneurs’ financial operations simpler, more transparent, and more cost-efficient. With a digital-first approach, they reduce financial administration, automate everyday banking processes, and support small and medium-sized businesses with modern, innovative tools, transparent pricing, and fast online administration.

We are looking for an Android Developer whose primary responsibility will be developing the user interface of the company’s mobile banking application and integrating it with backend services. You will work closely with the existing backend development team and with business stakeholders who define product requirements. In addition, you will help establish Android development practices within the organization and support and mentor less experienced developers.

Responsibilities:

• Implementing Figma designs and wireframes created by UI/UX designers.
• Applying reliable, maintainable, and secure coding principles throughout development.
• Quality-focused development, including participation in code reviews and the design and implementation of unit and higher-level tests.
• Ensuring user data protection and application security.
• Developing highly available, responsive mobile applications.
• Translating business requirements from product management into implementable technical solutions in collaboration with architects and the backend development team.
• Supporting operations; AWS and DevOps experience (CI/CD, Kubernetes) is a plus.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of the Android SDK and Kotlin, with hands-on experience supporting multiple Android versions and screen sizes.
• Practical experience integrating RESTful APIs with Android applications.
• Hands-on application of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices.
• Experience with cloud messaging APIs and push notifications.
• Practical understanding of Google Android design principles and interface guidelines.
• Strong knowledge of version control systems and related platforms (Git, GitLab).
• Experience working in cross-functional teams with proactive communication.
