Full Stack Developer

Our partner is a Hungarian-owned neobank established with the goal of making entrepreneurs’ financial operations simpler, more transparent, and more cost-efficient. With a digital-first approach, they reduce financial administration, automate everyday banking processes, and support small and medium-sized businesses with modern, innovative tools, transparent pricing, and fast online administration.

We are looking for a Full Stack Developer whose primary responsibility will be the development of the company’s backend and frontend systems and their integration with core banking services. You will work in close collaboration with the existing mobile development team, the core banking development team, and business stakeholders, including organizers and product managers who define business requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Quality-focused development, including participation in code reviews and the design and implementation of unit and higher-level tests.
• Development of highly available, responsive applications.
• Translating business requirements from product management into implementable technical units in collaboration with architects and other development teams.
• Implementing Figma designs and wireframes created by UI/UX designers.
• Applying reliable, maintainable, and secure coding principles throughout development.
• Ensuring user data protection and application security.

Requirements

• At least 3–5 years of relevant development experience.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Ownership mindset regarding maintained components.
• Solid knowledge of a JavaScript runtime environment (Node.js is a plus).
• Relevant experience with backend frameworks (e.g. Fastify, Next.js, NestJS).
• Relevant experience with frontend frameworks (Angular, React, Svelte).
• Practical knowledge of RESTful API architecture and contract-first development.
• Familiarity with microservice architectures and event-driven systems; CQRS is a plus.
• Experience with message queues or event streaming platforms.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases; PostgreSQL is a plus.
• Experience using SDKs of at least one cloud platform (Azure, AWS, GCP).
• Strong knowledge of version control systems and related platforms (Git, GitLab).
• Experience working in cross-functional teams with proactive communication.
