Test Automation Engineer

With a digital-first approach, they reduce financial administration, automate everyday banking processes, and support small and medium-sized businesses with modern, innovative tools, transparent pricing, and fast online administration.

We are looking for a Test Automation Engineer who will be responsible for designing, implementing, and continuously improving automated testing solutions for mobile and web applications. The role focuses on developing and maintaining automated test frameworks, writing automated tests across frontend, mobile, and API layers, and integrating them into CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities:

• Designing, developing, and maintaining E2E, API, mobile, and web automated tests.
• Developing web automation solutions based on Playwright.
• Implementing mobile test automation using Appium in Android and iOS environments.
• API automation (REST/GraphQL) and integration testing.
• Developing, versioning, and documenting test frameworks.
• Integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (GitLab).
• Defining and improving testing standards and best practices.
• Increasing and measuring regression test coverage.
• Investigating defect reports, reproducing issues, and working closely with developers.
  

Requirements

• Hands-on experience in test automation (mobile, web, and API).
• Advanced experience with Playwright (TypeScript/JavaScript).
• Experience with Appium in Android and iOS environments.
• API testing and automation experience (e.g. Postman + Newman; REST Assured is a plus).
• Strong scripting/programming skills (Java, TypeScript, JavaScript, or Python; Java is a plus).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipeline-based development environments (GitLab, Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
• Experience with version control systems (Git, GitLab).
• Knowledge of testing methodologies and principles, including BDD (Cucumber is a plus) and TDD.
• Strong technical communication skills with developers and business stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently with a proactive mindset and mentoring capability.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with mobile device farms (BrowserStack, Firebase Test Lab).
• Performance testing experience (k6, JMeter).
• Knowledge of container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• ISTQB Advanced or other relevant test automation certifications.
