Job Summary
**Based in Honolulu, HI**
The Maintenance Tech 3 is responsible for inspections, tests, maintenance, and service of aircraft using test equipment and hand tools, as needed, to return aircraft to service per FAA and manufacturers specifications and leading small projects.
Duties & Responsibilities
Performs routine maintenance and inspections on general aviation aircraft Ensures proper care of customer property through all phases of workAccurately completes required paperwork and work order details in Corridor Leads small projectsMakes technical decisions regarding discrepancies and job flowUtilizes outside resources as authorizedContinually keeps clean and organized work area including personal tool boxUtilizes support equipment in a safe manner to accomplish work tasksPerforms other duties as directed
Qualifications & Job Requirements
Minimum two years experience working with general aviation airframes Two years Pilatus PC12, or Cessna 408, experience desirableAdvanced troubleshooting abilitiesBroad knowledge of aircraft systemsLeadership, Quality, or sheet metal experience desirable.Education:
Airframe and Powerplant Certification required

Work Environment
Work is performed in an aircraft hangar environment with moderate noise level. The employee is frequently subject to inside environmental conditions, which provide protection from weather conditions but not necessarily from temperature changes. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Must be able to wear a respirator or air hood, and work in a confined environment.
