We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Estimator / Quantity Surveyor to join our team at D2B. In this remote role, you will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, quantity take-offs, and cost breakdowns for construction projects. You will play a key role in supporting tendering and project planning, ensuring pricing accuracy, cost efficiency, and alignment with project requirements across residential and commercial projects.
Position: Estimator/Quantity Surveyor
Salary: PHP 60,000 - PHP 70,000/month (flexible for more experienced candidates)
Working Hours & Conditions: Mondays to Fridays, 7:00AM to 4:00PM; full-time (remote)
Holidays: Australian Holidays
Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed cost estimates and quantity take-offs based on Australian drawings and specifications.
- Interpret architectural, structural, and services drawings accurately.
- Measure materials, labor, and subcontractor scopes in line with Australian construction standards.
- Analyze project documentation to identify scope gaps, risks, and cost implications.
- Assist with tender pricing, cost plans, and budget breakdowns.
- Review supplier and subcontractor quotations for accuracy and competitiveness.
- Maintain organized records of estimates, take-offs, and pricing data.
- Support internal teams with cost-related queries throughout the estimating process.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- 1 - 3 years of proven experience as an Estimator or Quantity Surveyor in construction.
- Experience working on Australian construction projects is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and pricing.
- Ability to read and interpret Australian construction drawings and specifications.
- Experience using estimating and take-off tools such as Bluebeam, CostX, PlanSwift, Excel, or similar software.
- Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment and meet deadlines.
- Portfolio is required.
