Redwood Credit Union is seeking a Business Technology Analyst Assistant Manager, who will manage, plan, coordinate, and implement IT projects to fulfill credit union’s business needs. Provide business systems analysis and support to the organization’s lines of business. Assist in developing and accomplishing strategies with adherence to project budget. Participation in Software Development Lifecycle with Application and Data Development. Responsible for Agile Transformation and Education.
Key Responsibilities
Management:
o Establish shared vision, plans, requirements, expectations, deliverables, and statuses. Communicate effectively throughout the lifecycle of a project or issue with business partners, staff, peers, stakeholders, and executive leadership.
o Analyze and evaluate the roadmaps, risk, benefits, features, and functionality of 3rd party and internal products, developing detailed strategies for meeting company goals through technology systems.
o Understand, manage, and prioritize complex projects and issues.
o Direct team members to achieve corporate and departmental goals by providing guidance around effort estimation, user story creation and breakdown of requirements using Agile methodologies; and by providing guidance around process improvement using lean methodologies.
o Supervise staff: goals, training, resources, support, schedules, feedback, accountability, and rewards. Promote team member contributions and job satisfaction by providing development opportunities, a cooperative working environment, and strengthening working relationships.
Technology Support:
o Analyze existing business systems to ensure proper maintenance standards are followed.
o Act as product manager for internally developed systems.
o Improve new and existing business processes by implementing new tools, upgrading existing tools, and introducing automation.
o Provide exceptional service to all Members, volunteers, internal team members and service providers.
o Educate staff around analysis of systems requirements with relation to business objectives and assure that systems perform optimally and fulfill all requirements.
IT Development and Security:
o Evaluate new technologies relating to business analysis and project management.
o Draft technology plans and requirements for business needs.
o Respond to audit items and remediate outstanding concerns.
o Keep up to date on Agile practices and methodologies.
Other Functions:
o Train and educate staff on technological understanding.
o Establish and maintain relationships with key contacts in the community including volunteer centers and non-profit organizations.
o Participate in community events, community volunteer boards & associations (Chapter Meetings, Staff Meetings, Leadership Team meetings, etc.).
o Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualification: Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Knowledge of current supervisory techniques and methods.
Knowledge of current business analysis techniques.
Knowledge of multiple SDLCs, including scrum, agile, and waterfall.
Knowledge of process management techniques.
Knowledge of project management techniques.
Ability to act independently and make quick decisions.
Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
Ability to manage, develop, and implement technology related projects.
Ability to supervise and coach team members.
Ability to work weekends and late nights when needed.
Ability to interact and communicate with outside vendors.

Ability and desire to work in a team environment.
Ability to communicate and collaborate with both onshore and offshore vendors.
Licenses and Certifications
AGCP or PMP certification preferred but not required.
The ideal candidate has a combination of education and experience equivalent to a bachelor’s degree in computer information systems, management information systems, project management or closely related field, and a minimum of six years of experience in business analysis, process analysis, programming, system design and integration, or similar. Prior supervisory experience preferred but not required.
Compensation: Base starting range: $122,927 to $161,950 annually commensurate with experience.
Our base salary starting range is based on scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, and internal peer equity. • Work environment is indoors; majority of the time is spent sitting at a desk.
