About the role
We are looking for a Associate Consultant I Financial Advisory with 3–5 years of relevant experience to join our growing Advisory practice in Athens. In this role, you will work directly with client finance teams, supporting the strengthening of their finance function across financial reporting, management reporting, and process improvement.
This is a hands-on consulting role with real client exposure from day one. You will contribute to meaningful engagements — from month-end close support and financial analysis to finance transformation projects — while growing your career within a structured and supportive team environment.
Key duties & Responsibilities
Your main responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Contribute to financial advisory projects aimed at strengthening clients' finance functions across reporting, processes, and operational effectiveness.
- Contribute to month-end and year-end closing processes, including reconciliations, financial data analysis, and preparation of reporting packages.
- Assist in the preparation of management reports, budgets, forecasts, and performance analyses.
- Participate in finance transformation and process improvement projects, focusing on reporting optimization and internal controls.
- Collaborate closely with client finance teams and internal project leads to gather data, understand reporting structures, and deliver quality advisory outputs.
- Identify practical opportunities to improve data quality, reporting efficiency, and operational performance within client finance functions.
- Stay current with developments in financial reporting frameworks (e.g., IFRS) and advisory best practices.

Qualifications
- Experience: 3–5 years of professional experience in Financial Reporting, Financial Advisory, Transaction Services, Consulting, or a related finance role.
- Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
- Professional Certification: Progress toward a professional qualification such as ACCA or an equivalent certification is a strong asset.
- Technical Skills: Strong financial analysis and reporting capabilities with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Working knowledge of financial reporting frameworks, particularly IFRS, is an advantage. Experience with financial reporting tools or ERP systems is a plus.
- Project & Client Delivery: Ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously, prioritize effectively, and deliver high-quality results in a fast-paced and client-focused environment.
- Language Proficiency: Fluency in Greek and English, both written and spoken, is essential for client and internal communications.
