Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and customer-focused AV Field Service Engineer to join our team. This role is responsible for providing on-site technical support, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair services for audiovisual (AV) systems. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to deliver outstanding customer service in dynamic field environments.
Responsibilities:
Install, configure, test, and commission AV systems including displays, projectors, control systems, conferencing systems, audio equipment, and video distribution.Provide on-site troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repairs for AV equipment and integrated systems.Perform routine maintenance, system updates, and calibration to ensure optimal performance.Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to support installation and service activities.Document service activities, system configurations, and updates in company service management tools.Train and support end-users on AV systems and functionality as needed.Maintain knowledge of AV industry trends, emerging technologies, and manufacturer product updates.Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and company standards while on client sites.
