We are looking for a highly skilled Azure DevOps IT Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud-based and hybrid solutions on-prem and on Microsoft Azure. This role requires a strong understanding of IT and DevOps principles, infrastructure as code (IaC), CI/CD pipelines, and automation to ensure efficient deployment and operation of applications.
Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize on-prem and Azure cloud infrastructure, ensuring high availability, security, and scalability
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, Bicep
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot infrastructure issues to ensure optimal performance
- Automate repetitive tasks to enhance operational efficiency and minimize manual intervention
- Configure and manage Azure DevOps services, including repositories, build and release pipelines, and artifact management
- Ensure compliance with industry best practices, security standards, and governance policies
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members and stakeholders
- Stay updated with emerging Azure technologies and DevOps practices to drive continuous improvement
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to streamline software delivery processes
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Azure services (e.g., Azure Kubernetes Service, Azure Blob storage, Azure Application Gateway, Azure Front Door, etc.)
- Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, Bicep
- Proficient in Linux system administration tasks (package management, permissions, networking)
- Experienced in Linux command-line tools for troubleshooting and automation
- Skilled in managing Linux servers/environments (Web servers, Docker, Kubernetes containerization)
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or PowerShel
- Deep knowledge of security best practices and compliance standards in cloud environments
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
