Qualifications

BS/MS in computer science, bioinformatics, or related field
1+ year(s) experience analyzing next-generation sequencing data
Recent coding experience with a scripting language such as Ruby or Python
Experience with JavaScript, jQuery, RESTful webservices, Haml, HTML, and Apache is a plus
Experience in designing and implementing SQL (Oracle, MySQL) and noSQL (mongoDB) databases
Experience with multiple operating systems, including Linux
Experience with software deployment in cloud highly desirable, especially Amazon AWS experience
Strong communicator with ability to maintain open communication with internal employees, managers and customers as needed
Start-up experience is a plus
