Diag is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Bio Medical Engineer to join our lab team. As a Bio Medical Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our medical equipment and devices. Your primary responsibilities will include installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and calibrating medical equipment, as well as conducting regular preventive maintenance to ensure optimal performance.

Responsibilities:

  • Install, test, and commission medical equipment and devices.
  • Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on medical equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions, and implement appropriate corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute equipment maintenance plans.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and guidelines in equipment maintenance and operation.
  • Keep accurate records of equipment maintenance activities, including maintenance schedules, service reports, and inventory management.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in medical equipment technology and industry best practices.
  • Provide training and technical support to staff on the proper use and maintenance of medical equipment.
  • Assist in the evaluation and selection of new medical equipment and devices.
  • Job descriptions:

  • Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience in the maintenance and repair of medical equipment.
  • Strong knowledge of biomedical engineering principles, practices, and standards.
  • Familiarity with relevant regulatory requirements, such as ISO standards
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in work.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work under pressure.
