Business Analyst with fleet management

The Business Analyst – Fleet Management will work closely with business and technology teams to analyse requirements, streamline processes, and support the delivery of IT and software solutions related to fleet operations. The role requires strong analytical capabilities, a solid understanding of system development methodologies, and the ability to translate business needs into effective technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, analyse, and document business requirements for fleet management systems and related applications.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand operational workflows, challenges, and improvement opportunities.
• Translate business requirements into functional specifications, user stories, and process flows.
• Support the end-to-end Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) across Agile and Waterfall environments.
• Work closely with development, QA, and project teams to ensure accurate and timely solution delivery.
• Facilitate stakeholder discussions, reviews, and requirement validation sessions.
• Use tools such as JIRA, Confluence, MS Visio, Excel, and SQL for documentation, tracking, and analysis.
• Assist in testing, user acceptance, and post-implementation support activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field (MBA preferred).
• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in IT or software development environments.
• Strong understanding of fleet management systems, logistics, or asset management domains.
• In-depth knowledge of SDLC methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall.
• Hands-on experience with JIRA, Confluence, MS Visio, Excel, and basic SQL querying.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
