Moore Colson is looking for a dynamic Senior Associate to join Business and Financial Advisory team in Atlanta. Key Responsibilities
Managing or assisting with projects including but not limited to weekly and month-end/year-end close processes, management reporting and preparing reconciliations Recording fixed assets and depreciation Calculating and reporting indirect taxes Helping clients prepare cash flow and or financial projections Assisting clients with payroll processing and 1099 preparation Troubleshooting client issues as they arise
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in accounting Minimum of 2 years’ experience with a history of progressive accounting or strong internal accounting / bookkeeping experience is required Proficient with QuickBooks Desktop or Online and Excel Hands-on experience with month-end accounting processes and management reporting preparation Some experience with construction accounting is highly preferred (job schedules, percentage of completion revenue recognition, etc.) Any experience with payroll processing that is related tax compliance is a plus Exposure using ProSystems Fx Engagement software is a plus Prior experience servicing clients in a professional services environment is a plus. Ability to travel to client locations within the Atlanta area (< 10%) Exceptional and proactive communicator (verbal & written)
