As our Business Development Associate, you will:
- Plan and implement our overall fundraising, sustainability and business development strategies
- Generate revenue through the sales and marketing of our products and services
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with stakeholders including partners and donors for consistent funding channels
- Secure funding through grants, sponsorship (financial and in-kind), charitable events,campaigns and other revenue sources locally and internationally
- Manage all aspects of the sales cycle including identifying new prospects, maintaining relationships, qualifying prospects, making sales presentations, and securing the sale
- Ensure all complete financial reports are sent to stakeholders in a timely manner
- Develop and track all sales, marketing and fundraising proposals and reports
- Represent DiV as required, including attendance of important functions, industry events and public meetings
- Be an advocate for DiV amongst relevant stakeholders locally and internationally
Qualifications
1. Two years + experience in business development, fundraising, corporate social responsibility or non-profit management
2. You're able to build long-lasting partnerships with multi-stakeholder groups through physical and online channels
3. You're the boss when it comes to relationship building and can easily build rapport with key decision-makers
4. Your communication skills (written and verbal) are on point
5. You're really good at motivating and influencing others
