About the Role
Gruve is looking for a dynamic and highly organized Cisco Engagement Manager to strengthen the strategic relationship with Cisco by driving structured engagement across sales, delivery, and executive teams.
This position is ideal for an early-career professional who is relationship-oriented, detail-focused, and eager to grow within the IT services and partner ecosystem. The role emphasizes communication excellence, coordination, and proactive relationship management to ensure consistent collaboration and long-term partnership success.
Key Responsibilities
Relationship & Stakeholder Management
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with Cisco sales and partner teams.
- Act as the primary engagement coordinator between internal teams and Cisco stakeholders.
- Track key contacts, engagement cadence, and follow-ups to ensure continuity.
- Identify engagement gaps and drive timely, structured communication.
Engagement & Event Coordination
- Plan and coordinate executive meetings, partner reviews, QBRs, and strategic sessions.
- Prepare agendas, briefing materials, and post-meeting documentation.
- Support industry events and partner-related activities to enhance collaboration.
Communication & Reporting
- Draft clear, executive-ready communications, summaries, and updates.
- Maintain engagement trackers, dashboards, and internal visibility reports.
- Leverage AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT) to enhance productivity and communication quality.
Operational Alignment
- Coordinate across sales, solution architects, and delivery teams to ensure alignment.
- Track engagement activities tied to Cisco opportunities and initiatives.
- Ensure accountability for action items, timelines, and follow-ups.
Growth & Retention Support
- Understand partner goals and surface opportunities for expanded collaboration.
- Assist account teams in strengthening renewals and long-term relationship value.
Risk Management & Relationship Protection
- Anticipate potential issues, manage escalations, and resolve conflicts proactively.
- Support governance practices that protect both client relationships and company reputation.
Basic Qualifications
- 0–3 years of experience in business coordination, inside sales, relationship management, program or project support, IT services or a related environment.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Demonstrated ability to organize meetings, events, and stakeholder interactions.
- Basic understanding of business and technology environments.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and follow-through.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders, priorities, and timelines simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Psychology, Business Communication, Marketing, Organizational Behavior, Arts, or other communication-focused disciplines.
- Experience working with system integrators, partner ecosystems, or B2B environments.
- Exposure to inside sales, customer engagement, or business relationship roles.
- Familiarity with collaboration tools, reporting trackers, and AI-enabled productivity platforms.
Salary Range
$ 70,000 - $80,000 USD + Benefits
This is a full-time opportunity with Gruve and is an onsite role based at the Gruve headquarters in Redwood City, California.
