We are looking for a Compliance Officer to join our Financial Markets & Investment Compliance team. In this role, you will shape and strengthen our compliance framework, ensuring it effectively detects, manages, and mitigates regulatory risks across a broad range of financial markets and investment products. You will provide clear, strategic compliance guidance through ongoing monitoring, rigorous risk assessments, and detailed reporting, helping the organization remain fully aligned with evolving regulatory obligations.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and interpret regulatory changes impacting investment services, financial markets and trading activities.
- Advise internal stakeholders on market conduct rules, suitability obligations, and investment regulatory requirements.
- Provide support and guidance for the development and implementation of compliance policies and procedures in line with regulations and broader regulatory standards regarding investment products and services.
- Support the onboarding of new/amended investment products, ensuring compliance with MiFID II and other investment regulations.
- Participate in projects involving compliance with regulatory requirements on investment services.
- Conduct periodic compliance reviews, internal audits, and risk assessments across investment-related activities and products.
- Liaise with regulators, auditors, and external partners as needed.
- Develop and deliver compliance training focused on investment regulatory obligations and internal compliance policies.
- Support the management of clients’ grievances received by Competent Authorities.
Requirements
- BSc in Finance, Business, Banking, Economics, Risk Management or a related field.
- MSc in a relevant discipline will be considered an advantage.
- Professional-level English verbal and writing skills.
- 3–6 years of experience in a Compliance role within an Investment Firm or within broader financial markets or wealth & asset management environments.
- Proven experience in interpreting and implementing regulatory frameworks (MiFID II, MAD/MAR, MiCA, UCITs), or relevant regulations.
- Solid analytical, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
