Consultant Pediatric Surgeon

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and manage postoperative care, ensuring smooth recovery processes.
• Educate patients and their families regarding treatment options, surgical procedures, and aftercare instructions.

• Participate in clinical research and continuing education to keep abreast of advances in pediatric surgery.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• M.D. or D.O. with completed residency in general surgery and fellowship in pediatric surgery.
• Board certification in pediatric surgery required.
• Active medical license in the state where the position is based.
• Thorough knowledge of pediatric anatomy, physiology, and surgical techniques.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with patients, families, and medical staff.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment.
