Position Overview

We are seeking a strategic and detail-oriented Corporate Communications & Events Specialist with experience in the medical or healthcare sector to lead our corporate communications and public relations efforts, manage media relations, and execute high-impact events and sponsorships. This role is vital to strengthening our company’s reputation, visibility, and credibility within the business & medical community and broader public.

You will be responsible for crafting compelling narratives through press materials and advertorials, managing relationships with healthcare and business media, B2B communications, and overseeing the planning and execution of corporate events, medical conferences, and sponsorships that align with our strategic goals

The role reports to the Marketing Director.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategies that position the company as a leader in the healthcare field, including thought leadership in healthcare innovation and industry advancements.
  • Manage all communications with the medical community and other corporate entities (B2B communications)
  • Develop and execute PR strategies and create the relevant content.
  • Serve as the primary liaison for healthcare and business media, building relationships with medical journalists, editors, and key outlets.
  • Translate complex medical and clinical concepts into clear, accurate, and compelling content for press and stakeholder communications.
  • Identify, evaluate, and manage sponsorship opportunities, particularly in the medical, pharmaceutical, and healthcare sectors.
  • Oversee the company’s presence at medical conferences, including booth planning, speaker support, and promotional opportunities.
  • Plan, organize, and manage internal and external events such as service launches, healthcare industry panels, media briefings, and scientific symposiums.
  • Measure the impact of PR campaigns, newsletters, media coverage, and event success using key KPIs and analytics tools.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in PR, events, or communications roles, ideally within the medical, healthcare, or pharmaceutical industry.
  • Demonstrated success in writing press materials and managing media relationships in the medical or scientific domain.
  • Experience managing end-to-end events, including industry-specific conferences or scientific symposia.
  • Established relationships with healthcare and medical journalists or media outlets.
  • Familiarity with healthcare compliance and industry regulations affecting Corporate Communications, PR and promotional activities.
  • Experience in both B2B and B2C healthcare communications environments.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills, with experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • High attention to detail, especially in regulatory-sensitive environments.
  • Confident communicator with interpersonal skills suited to liaising with executives, medical professionals, and media contacts.
