Cost Accountant

Tagaddod is seeking a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Cost Accountant to join our finance team. The Cost Accountant will focus on analyzing costs and preparing detailed reports to aid in strategic decision-making and enhance financial performance across our operations. This role is critical for ensuring accurate costing, budgeting, and analysis of our waste management initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Analyze costs and prepare cost reports for managerial decision-making.
• Evaluate product costs, including raw materials, labor, and overhead expenses.
• Assist in preparing and monitoring budgets and forecasts.
• Conduct variance analysis and provide insights to improve profitability.
• Support month-end close processes by providing cost data and analysis.
• Collaborate with operations to identify cost-saving opportunities and track efficiency.
• Maintain accurate cost accounting records and documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 2-4 years of experience as a Cost Accountant or in a similar role.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Understanding of cost accounting principles and practices.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
