Role Overview
The CRM Campaign Manager is a technical, platform-focused role responsible for executing and optimizing multichannel CRM campaigns within a managed SaaS environment. This individual will play a critical role in understanding how customer data flows across systems, building and deploying campaigns, and ensuring best practices for testing, personalization, and consumer communications.
This role operates heavily within the Braze platform and requires a strong understanding of CRM systems, customer lifecycle marketing, and journey orchestration. The CRM Campaign Manager will support multiple clients/retailers, creating dynamic, personalized campaigns across email, SMS, and push channels. This is a hands-on role suited for someone who enjoys working within platforms, solving problems, and continuously improving campaign performance through data and experimentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Build, configure, and launch multichannel CRM campaigns (email, SMS, push) within the Braze platform.
- Understand and manage how customer data flows across systems, ensuring accurate segmentation and targeting.
- Design and execute customer journey-based campaigns (e.g., onboarding, loyalty, retention, promotional flows).
- Develop dynamic, personalized communication paths based on user behavior, timing, and engagement.
- Support campaign testing, QA, and deployment best practices to ensure high-quality execution.
- Segment audiences and create targeted campaigns for 30+ retailers, supporting multiple client environments simultaneously.
- Optimize campaigns through A/B testing, performance analysis, and continuous iteration.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support campaign strategy, integrations, and execution.
- Assist with CRM platform configuration, including workspace setup and campaign architecture.
- Support integrations between CRM platforms and other systems to enable seamless data flow and campaign execution.
- Apply basic HTML and templating (Liquid) to customize and personalize campaign content.
- Monitor campaign performance and provide insights to improve engagement and conversion rates.
- Ensure adherence to communication preferences, compliance standards, and data integrity.
Qualifications
- 1–3 years of experience in CRM, marketing automation, or campaign operations in a SaaS, agency, or multi-client environment.
- Hands-on experience with CRM or marketing automation platforms such as Braze, Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC), Marketo, OneSignal, or similar tools.
- Strong understanding of customer data flows, segmentation, and lifecycle marketing.
- Experience building journey-based campaigns (e.g., onboarding, retention, loyalty programs), not just one-off email sends.
- Familiarity with multichannel marketing, including email, SMS, and push notifications.
- Basic knowledge of HTML and/or templating languages (Liquid preferred).
- Experience supporting app integrations and working with connected systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple campaigns across multiple clients simultaneously.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative, and hands-on environment.
- Willingness to learn new tools and become an expert in the Braze platform.
Requirements
- Must be willing and able to become a Braze Certified Marketer within 3–6 months of joining.
- Must be comfortable using AI tools in day-to-day work.
- Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or in the future. PDI Technologies is unable to offer visa sponsorship for this role.
