- Create Cyber Security Management Plan.
- Develop and ensure compliance with the Project Cybersecurity Management Plan.
- Lead cybersecurity design activities for EGIS solutions (Telecommunications, Signalling, SCADA—hardware and software). Serve as the primary interface with the customer for cybersecurity architecture, risks, and mitigation strategies in line with ISA/IEC‑62443 andCLC/TS 50701.
- Distribute applicable security requirements and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
- Plan and oversee cybersecurity activities while contributing to efficient system architecture design.
- Implement cybersecurity measures to protect systems, networks, and information, including allocation of cybersecurity requirements to subsystems.
- Conduct cybersecurity risk analyses and manage the associated project and business impacts. Configure and troubleshoot security infrastructure devices during factory and site testing, and support deployment, installation, and acceptance activities.
- Perform cyber risk assessments to identify sensitive data, evaluate vulnerabilities, and assess risks. Manage the full lifecycle of cybersecurity risk assessments—from design through commissioning—in coordination with the System Engineering Manager (SEM) and prepare required cybersecurity documentation for the customer.
- Review deployment documentation for cybersecurity compliance and completeness.
- Define, track, and close action plans to address and resolve cybersecurity issues.
Qualifications
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in Information Security / Information Technology security field in designing, development/configuration and maintenance of secure architectures for products and solutions.
- Masters' Degree in Engineering (Telecommunications, Electronics, IT) or related discipline.
- Strong knowledge of requirement management processes and relevant tool(s) (e.g. IBM DOORS NG, Polarion, Jama Connect or equivalent).
- Comprehensive understanding of system engineering principles and associated tools.
- Experience analyzing customer cybersecurity requirements and ensuring their incorporation into product designs, primarily based on ISA/IEC-62443.
- Understanding of computer networking concepts and protocols, and network security methodologies.
- Hands-on experience in security systems, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, anti-virus and EDR software, authentication systems, log management, SIEM, and content filtering.
- Knowledge of risk management processes including methods for assessing and mitigating risk.
- Ability to design countermeasures to address identified security risks.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity standards, regulations, policies, and ethics relevant to system design (NIST (National Institute of Standards and Technology), IEC 62443, ISO/IEC 2700x, EU NIS2, CLC/TS 50701, GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) / PIPEDA (Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act)).
- Knowledge of common cyber threats and vulnerabilities.
- Understanding of IT security principles and technologies (e.g. firewalls, demilitarized zones, encryption).
- Knowledge of network access, identity, and access management.
- Familiarity with various operating systems.
- Experience with penetration testing and/or vulnerability assessments skills is considered as an asset.
