As a Data Analyst, you will be a key supporter of the Data & Analytics team, assisting with projects to solve business problems. You will develop your skills in data analysis by supporting the execution of the team's data strategy. You will work closely with other data analysts and data engineers to clean, structure, and organize data, assisting in the development and maintenance of data models and pipelines to support the company's data-driven decision-making.
Primary Responsibilities
Help build a world-class Data & Analytics team focused on data integrity, business intelligence, data-driven decisions, testing, accountability and researchLead the design and implementation of our data modeling layers (Data Lakes/Warehouses), ensuring a "single source of truth" for a complex, two-sided marketplaceBeyond SQL, you will build and maintain robust ETL/ELT pipelines and deploy predictive models to forecast and automate insightsMove beyond "what happened" to "what will happen” and develop statistical frameworks to test hypotheses and measure the impact of new product featuresAct as the primary data partner for Product, Marketing, Sales, Engineering, Finance, and Customer Success leadershipBecome an expert on all aspects of Neighbor’s product, user, marketing and other data
Qualifications
3+ years of prior experience as a Data AnalystBachelor's degree in quantitative and/or technical fields (Math, Physics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, etc.) OR 5 years working experience in data analytics in lieu of a technical Bachelors degreeExperience with ETL such as data manipulation, organization and cleaning Experience modeling data lakes or data warehousesExperience with predictive modelingAdvanced proficiency in reporting and visualization softwareExperience using mathematical, scientific and statistical techniques to analyze dataProven track record of using quantitative analysis to solve problems, and drive key business decisionsExceptional communication skills for effective cross-functional collaboration, with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
