We are seeking a motivated Data Entry Clerk to assist with tracking procurements for a large infrastructure project in Los Angeles.
**Must have strong Excel skills**
Responsibilities:
• Prepare source data for computer entry by compiling and sorting procurement items.
• Process vendor documents by reviewing data for deficiencies and resolve discrepancies by using standard procedures or returning incomplete documents to the team leader for resolution.
• Maintains operations by following policies and procedures; reporting needed changes.
• Filing and other light administrative duties as needed.
• Some knowledge of contract or labor compliance is helpful but not required.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times.
• Clerk Typist background a plus.
Requirements:
• Strong Excel skills
• Solid math skills
• High attention to detail and accuracy; ability to self-audit.
• High School Diploma required; College Diploma preferred
• 2+ years experience in Data-Entry required
• 1+ years experience in construction industry preferred
• Payroll or accounting data experience a plus
• Strong interpersonal skills & organizational skills
• Active Team Player with positive attitude.
• High level of computer proficiency.
• Highly motivated.
