Job Responsibilities
•Experience with developing and supporting data-oriented tasks for cybersecurity solutioning, including developing machine learning algorithms, data models, or architecture strategy for cyber defense purposes
• Experience with designing and developing automation for security tools management, and create customized searches and applications
• Experience with Cloud Service Provider (CSP) solutions and their resources; (Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Software as a Service (SaaS)
• Experience with Security Information & Event Management (SIEM) and Security Orchestration, Automation, and Response (SOAR) tools and capabilities.
• Familiarity of host and network-based security technologies
• Knowledge of MITRE ATT&CK and D3FEND frameworks.
• Ability to support high visibility reporting on cybersecurity data through development of data visualizations and/or dashboards
Job Qualifications
-Knowledge of MITRE ATT&CK and D3FEND frameworks.
-Master's or PhD degree in a quantitative field such as: Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science or Economics required OR additional experience above the minimum may be considered in lieu of the required education on a year-for-year basis
-5+ years in ML engineering / data science / data engineering heavily preferred.
-Experience with object-oriented programming languages (such as Python, JSON, C++, Java, R, or Scala)
-Must have at least a Certified Analytics Professional (CAP) certification
-Secret (Eligible)
-Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with others will be a key responsibility for this role
-Willingness to go on-site as needed will be a requirement
-Build pipelines and models, validates performance, and deploys analytics in a maintainable way.
-Lead technical solution design and guides a team through implementation.
-This candidate will design and deliver data science and machine learning solutions that improve security and operational decision-making.
